I wonder if its worth it...

 

I was browsing through the headlines of news.com.au and saw a story about this dessert.

 

 

 

 

 

The Golden Phoenix cupcake from Dubai's Bloomsbury Cafe is currently the most expensive in the world at $957!!

I think that is absolutely insane.

I feel like if you have that much money to spend you should be donating it to charity instead of using it to feed your face.

I cant deny though that it does make me curious to know what it would taste like.

It is presented with such extravagance and with 24 carat gold trimmings, no wonder it is a small fortune on a plate.

I have also always wanted to try an expensive dish with truffles - it is on my life list, however my idea of expensive is from about $50-$100, not nearly $1000.
